Privacy and your information

How our guidance, household assessment and paper resources handle information.

Using the website

These pages do not ask you to create an account or submit household information. There are no contact forms, analytics scripts, advertising embeds or tracking pixels in the site application. Fonts and photographs are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.

The guidance pages at resilient-uk.com run without JavaScript. They do not set application cookies, use local browser storage or access your household assessment answers or saved result. Ticking a guide’s checklist does not send your answers to Resilient UK or create a saved household record. Your browser may retain temporary page state through its own features.

Using the household assessment

The free assessment runs at assessment.resilient-uk.com using our own browser code. Your answers stay in memory while you work through it. An unfinished assessment resets when you reload the page.

When you finish, the assessment keeps a small completed result in temporary browser storage for that tab’s session. This lets you read a guide and return to your result. It does not save your question answers there. Start Again clears the completed result. If browser storage is unavailable, your result may not survive leaving or reloading the page.

The assessment does not send your answers or result to the guidance site or our servers. The guidance pages cannot read the assessment’s browser storage. We do not use the result for tracking between websites or for analytics, and the assessment has no analytics or telemetry. Hosting providers still process requests needed to deliver pages and files, as described below.

Contacting Resilient UK

You can email info@resilient-uk.com with questions, corrections, privacy requests or accessibility problems. Resilient UK is responsible for handling these enquiries. Our email service is provided by Fasthosts / LiveMail. The mailbox is initially monitored by the Resilient UK owner/operator; it is not shared and messages are not routinely forwarded to third parties.

When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. For ordinary enquiries you choose to send us, we rely on legitimate interests where appropriate to receive, read, respond to and administer correspondence. Our interest is in answering enquiries and managing related follow-up. Where a different lawful basis applies to a particular interaction, we use that basis as appropriate.

We normally keep routine correspondence for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We retain it longer only where reasonably necessary, for example for legal obligations, complaints, security incidents or disputes. This is our correspondence retention policy, not a promise that provider backups or operational logs are deleted at exactly 12 months.

We do not use contact details for marketing, mailing lists or promotional messages. Please do not send passwords, financial credentials or detailed medical information.

You can contact us to ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion. Other rights, including restriction and portability, depend on the circumstances and applicable lawful basis.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing info@resilient-uk.com. We will consider your request in light of your circumstances and the applicable requirements. You can also raise a data-protection complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Hosting, security and provider information

Cloudflare Pages provides static hosting for this website. Cloudflare also provides DNS, encrypted delivery and network security. It processes connection and request information, including IP addresses and traffic data, to deliver the site and protect its services. The absence of application tracking does not mean that hosting and security logs are absent.

Cloudflare Web Analytics and optional analytics or advertising trackers are not enabled for this site. Cloudflare security checks may present a challenge and use necessary security cookies, such as cf_clearance, to remember that a challenge has been passed. These are separate from application cookies and optional analytics.

We have not configured exports of visitor logs to another storage or analytics service. Cloudflare retains operational information according to its purposes and legal requirements. Its Free-plan security-events dashboard provides up to 24 hours of history; that viewing window is not a promise that all provider data is deleted after 24 hours.

Cloudflare operates internationally, so processing is not limited to the UK. Its Privacy Policy explains its retention criteria, international processing and transfer safeguards: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. Information about its security cookies is available at https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/reference/policies-compliances/cloudflare-cookies/.

Paper belongs in your care

The printable resources are blank sheets for completing by hand. Printing uses your browser and printer; Resilient UK receives no completed answers. A printer or a saved local file may retain a copy according to your own settings.

Write only information that helps the people using the sheet. Avoid passwords, security codes and unnecessary health or identity details. Keep completed copies somewhere useful but not openly accessible, share them only with people who need them and dispose of outdated copies securely.

Following source links

Evidence links take you to other organisations’ websites. Those organisations handle your visit under their own privacy information. Their pages are linked, not embedded here.

Delivering any web page requires a connection to its hosting service. The absence of application tracking does not establish what a hosting provider logs about those requests.
